I thought I saw some recently. If so, I would try it again. Seale is supposed to be producing it.

I recently was in a city with a Total wine and decided to pick up a bottle of this. I must say I really liked it. It was smooth and easy and reminded me of Cuban rums. My favorite rums have been Jamaican style and Cuban style (kind of opposites I know). Early favorite Cubans were the Ron Matusalem a...

This is truly where the small producers could actually make a difference. A 1.5 year aged rum with lots more flavor and complexity than an 8 year. What would a rum made with some Belgian ale yeast strain be like?

I actually want more choices, but not more of the same. If there are any craft brewers reading . . . 1. I am tired of IPA's and overhopped crap. 2. Adding lots of hops to Belgians makes the beer suck and any interesting flavor from the yeast gets drowned from the hops. I'm sick of buying overhopped ...

Yeah, just their rye comes from MGP, though I thought that 4 roses did their bourbon.

I'm having some tonight. This is a really great light rum. It definitely reminds me of cane juice rums. This is a true bargain.

Bearmark, while I'd have to agree with you, the great thing about mellow corn is more educational. What does a straight corn whiskey taste like? and how does this mix with just a little rye (MGP 95%)? While this would not be a go to whiskey, (Heaven Hill BIB is cheaper and better balanced), I think ...

Article on tasting with flavor wheel

It's about tasting bourbon, but I thought it was pretty interesting. I really like the flavor wheel that he put together:
