You're a good man, Jimbo (not a perfect man - may fate deliver us from perfect men!). It is inspiring to know you even through just a few months of internet correspondence.

Our respect, concern, and best wishes may not be at the top of the list of your needs right now, but they are there.

Hey Dai,

Yes, I've tried the Smith and Cross.

I emailed the brewery to inquire about their potential to re-stock.

Yes, 60GBP+ is pushing it for a 40GBP product.

I'll let you know what I get back.

Seems both links provided are all sold out, Dai.

Do you know the timing on this release? Is it an annual thing?

Yes I agree it will be higher priced. But it's not a hyperaged one, might only be a few dollars more. That's why I thought you guys might like to know.

I did a search and there doesn't seem to have been a pre-announcement.

Well, ya heard it here first!

Appleton 12yr "Rare Blend"

Hey guys,

I know many of you guys are fond of the Appleton on here. Is this something to get excited about? Thought I'd give the forum some heads up.

Incidentally, I like that they redesigned the labels.

That gives us the tools to know when we've found an older one.

Is Pusser's 151 available in the UK as of Dec 2014?

Greetings all, I've been looking for a website that shows that someone in the UK actually carries Pusser's 151 overproof, but I haven't been successful. Was this always a continent-only offering? Is there a place in the UK that stocks it? I'd appreciate any advice. If it's not in the UK, is it in so...

I think depression 2.0 stands a chance of ushering in change, although the powerful are much more prepared for the revolt of the people this time around, so I'm not sure. Perhaps it will resemble medieval times, where the poor must form their own farming collectives, outside the gates of the great c...

Thanks for the head start, Hassouni.

I hear you on the malt side of D, and like I say, I can't say anything to anyone since I buy their Orphan Barrel bourbons. But I'm trying to keep it to a minimum.

"The more I see of man, the more I like dogs. " ~Mme. de Staël It seems that the further we go down the road of the American experiment, the more we are willing to accept an ever-increasing spiral of viciousness and inhumanity towards people in distant lands or with different opinions just...

I have no doubts that you are 100% right.

Many of us cave a little and dance with the devil once in a while.

For me, I like the odd Orphan Barrel bourbon.

I envy you that Coal Ila! I promised myself I would find a smaller independent substitute sometime over the next few years. There MUST be one!

You'll be in great company here. My head spins from what I've already learned here, and I'm still getting started.

All the best and see you on the forum.
