Many years ago I was sitting on a bar in Hydra drinking and watching the sunset with fantastic company.
During the winter it might be different and hopeful less touristic.
Enjoy Captain!!

Is it possible that they have so old rum stored?
Could this be a pot still?
How can we verify age?

Really pity that the solera term is being abused. They should name it as blend and offer info on % of components. Solera is used in sherry as well but there i think there is a local organisation the examines/verifies when a sherry has been classified as VORS (over 30 years old). And there due to the...

A new Foursquare release came out at MoM last week. They had few bottles so i hope that they will replenish their stocks. After the 9yo Port cask, this one is the 11yo Zinfandel cask: https://www.masterofmalt.com/rum/foursquare/foursquare-11-year-old-zinfandel-cask-blend-exceptional-cask-selection-r...

Very good prices! Have also got a longpond 2000 from TRC and find it very very good. There is a discussion in one rum blog (think BAT?) that the 2000 versions of Long Pond from most IB's are probably not continental or weddeburn types, thus they are lower in esters. If that is the case I cant wait t...

OK this is not a new release but thought that ones in UK might be interested in this. TWE has the 1989 and 1991 Damoisaeu. These are the OB versions and not the Velier ones. They are also 50cl and not 70 but they are cask strength. Strangely how they have 1989 at 72 pounds and the 1991 at 90, so pro...
