Received my Penny Blue on Monday, looks lovely but there's a tiny white spec floating in there, must be from the corking I suppose. Unfortunately I've been indulging in my other passion the last few days, drinking tea!
So will review soon at the right moment.........

I'm a landlubber too, I am drinking a bottle of ''Cadenhead's classic rum'' coming in at 50% with no additives that I think you would like.

I will review it soon in scuttlebutt which is in the crews quarters, enjoy the trip.

There was a 10,000 bottle release of Penny Blue batch#4 a few years ago which has sadly all gone now. They have just released batch#5 in Mauritius now where their distillery is, and will be available worldwide soon. The ageing will be mostly in cognac barrels this time instead of whiskey, correct me...
