Received my Penny Blue on Monday, looks lovely but there's a tiny white spec floating in there, must be from the corking I suppose. Unfortunately I've been indulging in my other passion the last few days, drinking tea!
So will review soon at the right moment.........

For the victims of Hurricane Irma.

It's easy for me to forget this tragedy across the ocean as I don't see the news much these days, so must apologise for my insensitive remark and offer my condolences to all you american and Island people who have lost so much, or in a lot of cases, have lost everything. I hope that you receive help...

Cap'n, I read somewhere that they use a continuous single column still. The last time I drank it, I got the flavours coming to me in layers which has only happened to me once before with MGXO. The PB opened up with oranges followed by vanilla, cream, chocolate and oak. I remember it balancing out bea...

Welcome...........

Hi arbeck,

I'm a landlubber too, I am drinking a bottle of ''Cadenhead's classic rum'' coming in at 50% with no additives that I think you would like.

I will review it soon in scuttlebutt which is in the crews quarters, enjoy the trip.

There was a 10,000 bottle release of Penny Blue batch#4 a few years ago which has sadly all gone now. They have just released batch#5 in Mauritius now where their distillery is, and will be available worldwide soon. The ageing will be mostly in cognac barrels this time instead of whiskey, correct me...

Greetings from London.

Hi scallywags, I' ve always enjoyed a chaser with my beer, or sip a bottle at home when I'm smoking, or to complement a black coffee. A few months ago I went into a Wetherspoons (they are a chain group of pubs here in the UK that serve a large selection of beers and spirits at low prices). They had ...
