I actually think that is a rather cool design, but should be used for some sort of higher priced special edition, not to add to the price of the ~$25 OGD 114, which already has a rather nice presentation with a cork stopper. http://library.bevnetwork.com/bottles/130/28931.jpg The student's design re...

In reference to the Seales interview - a week or so ago I tried a little experiment. I had finally opened my bottle of Plantation Barbados 5 yr and was deciding whether or not to order another from Hitime in an upcoming order. I like it but do find it a little sweet, but not a sweet bomb despite the...

Not to mention, I am sure this is responsible for the upward price drfit of the upper level products over the last couple years. Some that I like or have wanted to try, with the prices I could have gotten a couple yrs ago vs lowest price I see now: Balvenie doublewood $36 / $45 Balvenie 15 yr $50 / ...

Light is the enemy of beer, it breaks down hops and destroys the taste and aroma, resulting in a rancid taste and skunk-like odor when the bottle is ...

Well, the verdict is in - it turned out sort of almost drinkable. Is a little weak and bitter and has some green / grassy aroma and taste, but it does also have some interesting fruity and chocolatey aspects. I drink my coffee black but sweetened, but have been cutting back recently. Unsweetened the...

So I've got a question - if by some chance I found some green Guatemalan beans I had stuck in the freezer a long time ago (maybe 10 yrs) - what kind of results might I get if I roasted them? Just for fun I dug out a Melitta roaster I got maybe 15 yrs ago when my ex and I were selling at flea markets...
