I am changing the subject abit (apologies), but if i understand well when shipping from EU to UK, it is the seller responsobility to pay the UK duty?

Had a Longpond bottle (rumcask 2000) and 2 bought samples from Monymusk (rattray 1986) and Hampden (silver seal 1993) so after a good dinner decided to try them. I am really bad at this so sorry in advance.. Nose: Hampden is so much different from the other two. Much more earthy notes from Hampden. ...

Fatrum some of the bottlings are supposed to be young, surely the price won't be high?

i think fatrum had mentioned that they had put an.old rum in the cask in the past. when i was there they told me they refresh the cask when it gets to the middle.

Dai, Black Tot , Fat Rum there is a tasting which will include Luca and Seale for UK Rumfest. £20 for 4 rare rums.

did you order any from the live cask of rum? They refreshed it recently.
They als have few bottles that are not in the website. PM if you want to find out which.

But it is not only taxes. The retailers sometimes set prices high.

I raise you a Yamazaki Sherry Cask 2013. From £100 to near 1K. For a NAS. The economic climate sure has something to do. Are all these people overpaying for luxury or are they looking for returns they cant find in a normal account? It would be very funny if in 5-10yrs all those "investment"...

The increase in prices will bring lots of fakes in circulation.
