Look forward to it. I've gotten one rum that was distilled in Key West. I wonder if it's the same one you encountered.

Richland Rum is readily available in Thomasville, GA which is just up the road from where I live in Florida. I like it and find it abundantly smooth. From what I read they are planning on opening a second distillery in Brunswick, GA (http://www.pr.com/press-release/661081)

Do you know if anyone tried using the apple pie rum for rum cake and/or rum balls? I think it would really make for something unique.

Re: Apple Pie drinks

WE have experimented with a few unique drinks with the Apple pie. our favorite way to drink it is just over ice. My mother mixes it in tea. Another customer mixed it in hot apple cider when the weather was cold. For tastings we have poured it over a scoop of vanilla ice cream....its really awesome....

Just opened a bottle of Timber Creek Apple Pie... I'm DRINKING apple pie. Wow! Good job!!! No. OUTSTANDING job!!! Most flavored rums tend to be overly...even cloyingly sweet and most have a massive artificial taste. Timber Creek Apple Pie rum does taste like apple pie...I swear I taste buttery crust...

One other question from out of left field: who designed your bottle label?

Okay...two questions: The building in the oval on the bottle label...looks like a mountain or ridge in the background...clearly not the Florida panhandle. What its story?

Aged rums from those barrels. Sounds good. Are you thinking about reserving a portion longer in a barrel or two?

I have a bottle of each rum Timber Creek offers (got them from Paradise Liquors in Panama City Beach). I haven't had the chance to try them yet but will soon.

I have all four of their rums and have not tried them yet. I am very curious about their Apple Pie rum. I hope it's not too sweet. Thinking about it, some apple flavor and cinnamon should work well in rum.
