Seale's 10 yo.

Remove that, and I could suffer through with Appleton Extra or HC 7.

Has 1703 not changed the way XO has?

*******
Capn's Log: doubtful. JaRiMi pointed out that its the less expensive blends (like MGXO) whose blends have been changed to preserve the stocks of exceptionally good, aged stuff for their flagship brands. This creates two markets - super duper premiums and rums for the 99%. Naturally the pallet of 1703 that I'd ship to the island would all be the older stock. I'm basing my impression on the 1703 of some years back, still vivid to us.

Probably old MGXO (I own a fairly new bottle and am amazed anyway)...

Or a solid stash of Diplomatico Reserva Exclusiva - then I would not need to worry about food due to the sugar...

I'd throw three bottles in the air, Appletons 12, Pussers 75 and S&C. Which ever one I caught as they came down I'd be happy with.

Actually, I haven't had it, but I'm thinking Pusser's 15 might do it...
