Craft Distillers Survey: United States

Recently at the Zoo...


A frequent flyer named Mamajuana posted a poll of 10 US based craft distillers of rum:

• Berkshire Mountain Distillers (MA)
  Prichards (TN)
  Montanya Distillers (CO)
  Old New Orleans (LA)
  Newport Distilling Company - Thomas Tew (RI)
  Owney's NYC (NY)
  lost Spirits Distillery (CA)
  Koloa Rum Company (HI)
  Cane and Abe (WI)

Some of the sharp minds here might have noted this is only 9 rums - the 10th was reserved for "Other", as apparently the forum seems to limits polls to ten. This is actually a good and interesting post but it seems that some really fine craft distillers were left out, thus invalidating it to some degree.

Won't you kindly opine and post distillers that should have been included? The world thanks you. Oh, and if you were to limit the choices to ten which of the above would you have then omitted and why?
