Clarification: ALKO's sugar listings

A few weeks ago JaRiMi noted that a number of spirits no longer listed sugar content...

...accordingly he and we all wondered whether pressure had been applied to this official testing body? Fortunately, JaRiMi is not one to let something of this import go, so he pledged to find out. And he did - the answer:

"UPDATE: Alko said that they do give sugar info on all products - if there is no mention of sugar, their measurements got no sugar from the product, i.e. the reading was 0.

I may have misjudged this situation, because I went back and checked, very few products have no sugar reading - Fair rum Belize is one of them, Bacardi Superior white also, and so is the Baltic rum white, to mention a few."

That should settle that. I'd agree there is no pressure as it is the pure spirits - no sugar - that carry no listing of sugar. Still, ALKO would be wise to make that clear on their website.

I noted that on one forum, someone had posted a listing of rums from Sweden's mighty Systembolaget, with sugar values from that year:
