I ran across a Colorado Distillery today. Called bear creek distillery. They product three rums that I am aware of. A white, a spiced, then a barrel aged rum.
The mash bill for their rums is "Organic evaporated cane juice". They use a Hybrid copper pot still to distill their rums. The white rum is 80 proof and said to be enjoyed either straight or as a mixer.
Then they have a cask strength barrel aged rum. The rum is 120 proof going into the cask. It is aged for 6 months in a used Wild Turkey barrel then finished for an additional month in a Breckenridge Bourbon barrel. It is bottled out of the cask at 120.7 proof. They say this is a very drinkable rum at barrel proof with notes of Oak, vanilla, and caramel on nose and tongue.

The cask strength is mainly only available in Colorado at the distillery. Possible review to come.
