Big news...
Just got back from Key West where as always, we did the Mallory Pier Sundown Celebration (running nearly 40 years now), and the usual stroll down Duval Street. Skipped the clothing optional rooftop bar, but did have a nice street cigar ($5).
The second day we ran into something new for us: an artisan distillery which - seriously - was great. The rum was young but extremely well made and with a twist I simply must share with you.
Stay tuned...

Cool. I've been stuck on standby in a Karratha, Australia hotel room.
I managed to find a bottle of Beenleigh 5yr rum and give it a healthy try.
I contacted the distillery some weeks ago by email and they told me they only added coloring caramel, but to me, the rum has a sweetened taste. Wish I could hydro it but I don't keep that equipment in my work luggage.
Looking forward to the details on the Key West discovery.
