I don't. But no doubt the Shillery monkeys are madly palming their monkey heads over this one. American archiologists today announced they've found what they believe is one of Henry Morgan's "pirate ships" just off the coast of Panama, near the Lajas Reef.

Morgan is alleged to have lost five ships there in 1671 in a battle to capture Panama City for England. The NOAA had been searching these waters since 2008, and recently found 6 cannon that they believed were from these ships. But then...

They ran out of lucre.

Enter Capt. Morgan USA who donated a sum of money sufficient for NOAA to continue their search and conduct a magnemometer survey. The survey located a wooden hull, and a number of unopened chests and cargo boxes.

Thanks to the Captain - whose previous contribution to scientific knowledge was limited to lifting one leg while drinking rum. This represents a real step, er hop, forward...
