Pipe Makers / Brands / Styles Thread.

Pipes on the ships of old were nothing new. Tobacco and rum made their appearance in short order with tobacco inherited from American Indians and rum from the Caribbean. Smoking aboard ship was allowed by limited to a safe area and at safe times, ergo the "smoking lamp". Where? Usually near the Galley, as it is here. A huge thanks to the amazing da'rum - a man of high ideals and many talents. This is just one of them.

Here is the place to post any interesting Pipe makers or styles that you find.

I'll be interested to what is found.

I have a few that I'll put in later.

Cheers

I've never tried one of those and I'm not too sure if I'd want to. There's very little 'Huck' factor with them. And the Huck factor us very important to me :-)

Seriously though if I were to find one for a tenth of the mentioned prices I may give it a try.

Thanks Dai, I've looked at the Butz Choquins before. They are ok pipes of a standard quality. I assume they would smoke well.

Not bad, for Americans. I'm not a fan of Meerqueen. I definitely wouldn't spend 15$ on postage from America to here.

They are good though.
