El Dorado 21 at a discount?

Hi!
I just came across El Dorado 21 at an unusual price. Like 50% off:

Seeing that they usually go for $100 or more, are they dumping those? Or is this the new price? Seems like a bargain but then again, all that sugar... El Dorado 12 was my first serious rum purchase and at the time it was heaven. Now I'm more experienced but still... I'm on the fence about this one. Only because of this price. Has anything changed? Can someone shed more light onto this?
