What is it about the Canookies?
Look. I like Canada. I like Toronto. I like their history. I was in deep lust, er love with an intelligent and very sexy Torontonian. I had a Canadian dentist. And I even considered immigration to Quebec...
So I'm a fan of sorts.
But what in heaven's name is it about the Canadian's spirit-like, mixed-drink-in-a-bottle offerings? Canadian whisky is allowed to contain 10% of anything as legal additives. Sugar, wine, flavoring, only Wolfie knows what. They insist that otherwise lovely Carribean rums be altered with a portion of "Canadian rum". Can you believe that? So what's next?
Tea.
Nope not real tea. Isn't even made or flavored with tea. Nope, it's yet another Canadian faux spirit that looks like - and tastes like - tea. And promoted as a "tea". But... it doesn't have any fackin tea in it! But in the Canadian stream of faux spirits, it does contain alcohol. Frankly, this ridiculous product is just another of the invented Canookie mixed-drink-in-a-bottle, alcohol delivery systems designed to get you through those cold, cold winters at the least possible cost, thanks to their favored American distiller...
