Questionable dept: Panama Pacific rum

Like most South and Central American rums Panamanian rums especially those coming out of the Don Jose distillery are usually sweetened with wine.
Which often can show zero additives on a hydrometer.
The Mezan 2006 Panama will be the last from Mezan as they have been duped by the distillery.
Quite what this operation is like I don't know. From what I can see its just a giant alcohol plant - to be fair multi column distillation rarely produces the flavours noted in many of these rums. There's nearly always something added.........
As for the age statements. I wouldn't put trust them either.
