Greetings from England

Yes, the obligatory introductions section, but serves a good purpose - like a good, soft toilet paper - used only once but truly wonderful! "Here's to you and here's to me, may we never disagree - if perchance we ever do, here's to me and to hell with you!"

Welcome. If you like warming, sweet rums, get yourself some Barbancourt 15 - a perfect example of honest aging and the effects of wood - quite lovely.

Thank you. I like all kinds to be honest. I just like trying new rums.

I've been considering Barbancourt for some time. Its the whole Agricole thing that is putting me off. I really cannot abide Cachaca and the rhum's I have tried so far have been very reminiscent of Cachaca (La Mauny XO and Saint James Ambre). Some say Barbancourt is "Agricole" rum others say not. I'm not bothered if technically it is or isn't Agricole. I just want to know if its vegetal/grassy like Agricole/Cachaca?
