Tobacco Vids With A Cigar 'How To'

Is a smoke (Rudyard Kipling). Smoking has been around since the beginning of time but insofar as more recent times the home of both rum and cigars - a wonderful combination - remains the Caribbean. If you can't find a Cuban, you might try an expatriate smoke like one from Gran Papi Rodriguez and Family in Key West.

There are plenty more. If I was living in the USA I'd give this a crack.

Cheers

Great stuff...

With these two, one could easily make his own pipe and cigar blends and roll yer own. Love the cigar rolling gentleman - down to earth, practical and darn if he doesn't roll a decent cigar using simple methods, no expensive presses, et al. As he puts it, he can make a $10 cigar for about 20 cents!

Since tobacco is grown worldwide, I've got to believe the leaf tobacco must be available from someone. Are there any Aussie pipe blenders?

If I was in Australia, Jimbo I'd have little problem sourcing or growing my own. Here in Germany though it's a whole different barrel of monkeys. The climate is just not conducive to tobacco growing without at least a partial grow indoors over winter and autumn. Then the quality would have to suffer I'd guess (probably, maybe, I think). Importing leaf from outside Germany would be fraught with risk. Customs here are brutal.

So effort vs outcome.
