Retailers

The Rum Project is non-commercial and proudly so. Still occasions arise when a commercial plug is in order. But unlike the other rum bozos, my plugs will be (a) few and (b) deserved and (c) made crystal clear. Live with it.

Retailers

Post by rus »

Hi all.as we are from north of the 49th in the great white, the selection of tipples is limited and the cost, even b4 the 30% drop in our canajun $, sometimes nuts! We try to search"best liquour store in..."online and take suggestions whenever we can..wintering in south fl.we each take 1 of the many different routes to get here to paradise to be able to explore the suggested stores enroute...is there a list of best rum/whisk(e)y stores anywhere online? We scour the retailers near miami, hollywood,ft.lauderdale but must be missing someplaces as the choice of either vat/cask/overproof,indie,unadulterated rum is quite limited...i have ordered from mission, hitimes, drinkup nyand astoers, tarzan has ordered from europe and thats crazy prices.bri,i,hec, zel have been 2 many countries touring and buying...so please ,throw us some of yout fav retailer names to buy from ,support and visit so we can enjoy while here and take home for the bar and for our horded personal collections. Happy trails. Rus and the usual suspects
Happy trails to all on your journeys.am a rum, rhum, ron guy with a bit of calvados and whisk (e)y thrown in...empathically dislike cloyish, sweet, astringent renderings...cheers. rus

Here's a few:

1. Total Wine & Spirits - multiple locations in Ft. Lauderdale area and south Florida.

2. Tri-County Discount Liquors - 5817 Margate Blvd, Margate, FL 33063, (954) 979-0890

3. Wilton Discount Liquor, 2105 NE 5th AveWilton Manors, FL 33305, (954) 561-0130

4. Pompano Discount Liquor, 652 E McNab RdPompano Beach, FL 33060, (954) 946-7300

These are the best selections and prices in Broward County (Ft. Lauderdale area). YMMV.
