J. Wray Golden

The second standard reference style: aromatic, robust and full flavored - it's absolutely dunderful. To our ships at sea! May they sink very slowly!

J. Wray Golden

Stopped into a local small package store recently and encountered this junior representative of the Wray and Nephew megaconglomerate. I was very pleasantly surprised: it's straw blonde color demonstrated minimal aging, but unlike Westhall, there was classic rum hiding in there. Although it is very light and clean on the palate, this has a convincing and familiar touch of classic Jamaican dunder as a healthy background flavor. To my palate, not a touch of sugar or flavorants,

It's a feather-weight pleasant sipper - and a Cap'n's special at $14.95!
